Great place to eat if you want a lot of options and lots of food. You have to wait a little for dinner hours, but the tables turnaround so fast! The waitress are so sweet and get you everything you need even when it's a rush.

Nice clay pot rice at hing lung. Had both the chicken and the Chinese bacon with sausage and they came out nice with plenty of crispy rice. They also do a good job with chinese fried donuts

Authentic Cantonese cuisine in San Bruno! We came here on Saturday around 6 pm--this place fills up pretty quickly. Most of the tables are suitable for 4-6 people, but I'm sure they can easily combine tables to accommodate larger groups. *Rice Noodle Roll with Braised Beef Brisket Pot Where should I even start?? The beef brisket is braised perfectly with just the right amount of spice. The rice roll has absorbed all the flavor from the beef brisket, and the sticky sauce coats the rice roll beautifully. Because it's served in a pot, you can feel the 'wok hei', which adds an extra layer of complexity. You can ask for chilli sauce if you want it. *Fish Combo Rice Noodle Soup Love it--it's perfect for any occasion. The fish broth is hearty and warm, with the right amount of seasoning. They use mixian (thicker and smoother rice noodles) paired with fish cake, fish tofu, and fish fillet. I feel like they make the fish cake in-house which adds points. All the elements are cooked to perfection. It would be awesome if they had chili oil for an extra kick, perfect for people like me who enjoy spicy food. *Wonton Soup We also ordered a wonton soup. It's fine, not bad, but there are better places for wonton. I will definitely come back next time and try their congee and fried dough.

Hing Lung aka Ichi Ramen aka Hing Lung Ramen. IYKYK This place has to be among the best authentic Cantonese restaurants in the area with fairly reasonable prices. It's a no frills spot that gets jam packed with customers on nights and weekends. What we get: - Beef and tendon rice noodle roll: This is the dish to get. Yes, it's rich, but the tender chunks of beef and the rice noodle rolls are amazing. - Teriyaki beef and mushroom: This is probably the worst possible name for this dish, but it's ultra tender pieces of beef with mushrooms and green beans. It's on the pricier side (18.95?) but definitely worth getting. - Salt toasted spareribs: A little bit of salt, a little bit of jalapeno and a lot of flavor and goodness. Definitely something to get - Congee: Congee, you say? They make their congee and it comes steaming hot in a claypot. Tons of varieties to choose from and none too salty. They also have the chinese donuts, sugar version, etc. - Beef chow fun: Same story as above: Tender chunks of beef, wok hei noodles, and just the right amount of flavor - Sparerib claypot rice: What you would expect from a claypot rice with a splash of veggie to make you feel better - Singapore noodles: If you're craving some Singapore noodles, this place gets the job done The service is very efficient. One of the best places in the bay. There, I said it!

Craving for their honey beef pan fried noodles!! We got the preserved egg pork porridge and sweet and sour pork. As expected, we all LOVE the porridge and noodles. Their quality is very consistent and never disappoint. It's the first time we have sweet and sour pork here. I would say it's pretty good. The taste is on point. I just wish the pork pieces are a bit more crispy. It would be 5/5. Overall, we all enjoy our meals. 5/5!!

I love the noodles here! It was my first time, and I'd love to return when I go back to South San Francisco again. Service was good and fast. They had 5 people cooking constantly moving, which made service fast. It's a small restaurant that's pretty clean. The name Hing Lung is actually pronounced as Xing Lung Restaurant, the H is silent. They don't have Chinese hot mustard, though, and I eat all my Chinese cuisine with hot mustard and shoyu. I'll have to bring my own next time

Came here on a Sunday evening with my family after they were craving Cantonese food. The fam had raved about this place before so I was excited to try the food. We went around 5 pm and the restaurant had a good amount of seating and was still pretty empty but we noticed it was getting more crowded as it approached 5:30. The servers also quickly came to take our order. We ended up ordering quite a few dishes which were the rice rolls with beef brisket in clay pot, the fried rice noodles with beef and the eggplant and green bean stir fry. All the dishes were flavorful and, as we say in cantonese, the flavor of the wok flame was present. - Beef was very tender in the clay pot and as a fan of tendons, they did not skimp out on the selection of beef parts. - Rice noodles also had a good fry on them, although the beef could have been a tad bit more tender. - Eggplant and green bean combo was so good as those are 2 of my favorite veggies going to Chinese restaurants grow in up and the flavor of the XO sauce was present but not overly salty. Overall, I recommend this place if anyone is craving some good Cantonese/HK food!

Went for Dinner Food - 3/5. Fried rice had the light flavors of scallops with umami from the egg whites. Plenty of scallions gave it a nice aroma with a peppery kick. However, it was on the heavy side with a little too much oil, especially for dried scallops fried rice, making the flavor get tiring quickly. Honey BBQ pork was tender with a nice red color. Flavor was rich, but the greasiness of the pork caught up to your palate rather quickly. I wasn't a fan of the honey as while the sweet flavor was different, it did not have synergy with the heavy pork. Service - 4/5. Quick and efficient service. Food came out in good speed and service was readily available. Value - 4/5. Food quality was a mixed bag. Flavors weren't bad but just below the mark, making you think about a return visit. On the plus side, the portions are very generous with affordable pricing. The giant plate of pork was $15 and the mountain pile of fried rice was $17. Hot tea was complimentary. Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

They finally changed their name to Hing Lung Ichi Ramen so it's less confusing. But really, it's Chinese and ramen is not their specialty. I typically eat at their Grand location, but before that was opened, this location was our go-to spot for congee, dry fried chow fun, Hong Kong style crispy noodles...etc. We were hungry at an off hour and most places aren't open until 5. So we ventured to San Bruno on this cold and windy late afternoon, and both of us ordered their steamed chicken in fish broth with rice noodles and stir fried green beans with minced pork. Both dishes hit the spot and kept us warm! 4.5/5. Just note that service is efficient, but don't expect warm and welcoming. But do expect the food to be piping hot when you get it! As for ambience, it's not a total hole-in-the-wall, but it could use a little cleaning and degreasing. But the food is good and that's why we come. Prices are kind of high for Chinese food. Though nowadays, it's about average. For 3 orders, it was nearly $60 with tip. But we had some green beans to take home and we were satisfied!
